News & Events

The Village Annual Remembrance Service took place at Five Wents Hall on Sunday 12 November 2017. It was again well attended with the Cubs and Scouts having to sit on the stage. The Service was ably led by Paul Wiggins, Vice chairman of the Trustees, supported by Harry Chapman from the Royal British Legion. The Air Training Corps and the Local Scout Group formed the parade for the service. Many residents stayed afterwards to chat and take refreshments kindly provided and served by the Trustees. The wreaths laid by the Local Organisations will be displayed outside the Hall for a short period afterwards.
