Consultations available at the Pharmacy

The Village Pharmacy has undergone extensive modernisation so it can bring villagers easy access to high quality services. In particular it has a new and comfortable Consultation Room that allows our customers to have privacy.

Services available by appointment include reflexology, therapeutic massage, aromatherapy and the services of a qualified chiropodist:

Chiropodist (now called ‘Podiarists’)

Having a foot related problem can seriously affect your day to day enjoyment. The Village Pharmacy has the services of Simon Coe B.Sc., M.Ch.S, S.R.Ch who is a qualified state-registered chiropodist. Short term treatments can be offered for in-growing toenails, bunions, calluses, corns, verrucae (warts) etc as well as longer term treatments such as for wound management, ulcers etc.

Medicines Use Review

Many people take a course of medicines over long periods which need to be reviewed from time to time. Typically these can be treatments for diabetes, blood pressure, asthma, arthritis etc. By appointment, the Village Pharmacy can provide you with a free Medicines Use Review where, in privacy and confidentiality, you can discuss issues you may have with your medicines.

Repeat Prescription Services

If you have a repeat prescription, you can order over the phone. We will let you know when your prescription is ready for collection, or if you have mobility difficulties, we will deliver to your home in Hextable free of charge.

Photographic Services

The pharmacy offers a fast photographic service. Printing can take just 24 hours (excluding week-ends).
